6 days gorilla tracking and wildlife safari. You will be met and warmly welcomed by our trained and experienced guide / driver from African adventure Travellers and then be taken to an already booked Hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may decide to rest for a day after the long flight, or start-off your 6 days wildlife and gorilla safari the next morning which will take you through a variety of activities like rhino tracking at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, game drives through the Murchison falls national park, sighting of the tree climbing lions in Ishasha plains at Queen Elizabeth and gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable forest national park. On the day of arrival at Entebbe Airport.
We set off from Kampala at exactly 7:00 am after your early morning breakfast for our 6 days wildlife tour with gorilla tracking safari package driving through Luwero where we pick a couple of fruits; like the pineapples, passion fruits, oranges, pawpaws and many others to the Nakasongola district with a long stretch filled with Acaccia plants to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino Tracking trip package, the tracking may take up to 2 hours depending on where the Rhinos are feeding from.
Continue to Masindi town for lunch at Masindi Hotel, then later continue to the park entrance and be driven to the Top of the great Murchison waterfalls.
Have your early morning breakfast, then continue for a 4 hours Game drive in Murchison falls National Park. It is another great morning yet to get only a few meters away from the Lions, Warthogs, Giraffes, Elephants, Jacksons heart beasts, Jackals and the Hippo Pool for breakfast
At 11:00 am, we return back to our lodge for freshening up and lunch, then at exactly 2:00 pm, we get onto a boat and start a 3 hours ride on the Victoria Nile with sightings of the great Nile Crocodiles, Buffaloes, Hippos, and lots of birds, you will also be shown the crash point of Ernest Hemingway.
After the early morning breakfast, check out of the park and drive along lake Albert, to the escarpment area for a great view of the great rift valley, then continue to Hoima town for lunch at Kolping Hotel. After lunch, embark on the journey through Mabale, kagadi towns with great views of the local community, school kids, thatched houses and finally to Kyenjojo town.
Not forgetting it is a dirt road to Kyenjonjo town from Murchison falls National Park. Drive 55km to fort portal town and continue for a 1 hour: 45 minutes' drive on a tarmac road to Queen Elizabeth.
After having our morning breakfast at Ihamba lodge, we drive through Ishasha and this is in the southern section of Bwindi Forest National park. Here there are high chances of spotting the elephants, tree climbing lions, baboons, waterbucks, buffaloes and many more on the way. Then en-route to savannah hotel for lunch and later head to Bwindi Impenetrable forest Park.
We shall have an early morning breakfast with our packed lunch and report to the park headquarters by 7:30 am for a briefing on gorilla tracking etiquette.
After the briefing, we start off with the gorilla tracking as we shall be penetrating the Impenetrable Forest to look for these gentle giant gorillas under the guidance of a knowledgeable guide and armed rangers.
After our morning breakfast, we drive back to Kampala via Mbarara - Masaka lunch en-route.
